About Me
I'm Jamie Silbernagel!
I'm an animator and digital artist seeking a role in production management.I have animation and digital arts degrees from the University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee, and a certificate in 2D Animation from CG Spectrum. I was also a mentee of the Women in Animation Mentorship Circle, Starting Strong in Production Management.I have a passion for collaborative storytelling and I particularly enjoy fantasy and children’s animation. I believe kids are smart and capable of consuming complex stories. Growing up, cartoons shaped much of who I am, and I want to make stories that do the same for kids today! I have found I have a knack for organization, improving workflows, and coordinating people to bring a project together and that has driven me towards production management.For my personal projects, much of my inspiration comes from playing TTRPGs, such as Dungeons and Dragons and Pathfinder. Each character in my header is actually from these games! I am in love with the collaborative storytelling and in depth character exploration that these games allow for, and only makes me want to make more!I also write, play video games, pick up a new craft hobby each week, spoil my cats, camp, and more!

Studied the animation pipeline in-depth with a focus on practical application and skills by practicing industry-level assignments and learning various industry-standard softwares.

Collaborated with department heads and mentors to support the school's mission by preparing students for industry-level careers by being a first point of contact and providing feedback and support between classes. Promoted community-building by creating and running student events, and moderating the online community of over 4500 members.

Created for the 48 Hour Film Project in 2023 with the production company, Story is Everything, I managed the sets, ran footage, organized equipment, and kept production on schedule.
